tell you just a little about ourselves
Miko and I were married
Nov.23,1960. We are deeply in love with God and each other. We were
in the entertainment business for many years performing in night
clubs all over the United States.
I didn't believe in God and hated
anyone that did.
I became hopelessly addicted to
drugs and lost everything. I went from being a popular comedian
living in a big ranch house with a beautiful wife and three great
kids to living in a tent on the banks of the C24 canal in Port St.
Lucie Fl.
The one thing I did have was a
Christian Mother who never stopped praying. Not only did God forgive
me of my sins, He delivered me from years of addiction and after two
and a half years of separation, brought my family back together.
Now many years later God has given
us this ministry along with a deep compassion for the needs of those
that are hurting and looking for answers. SomebodyCares4U
began December, 1999. We are so blest, knowing
God has believed enough in us to trust us with such an awesome
responsibility. We have witnessed miracle after miracle and have seen
thousands of people from all corners of the world respond to the
invitation to give their hearts to the Lord.
We want to thank our PRAYER WARRIORS from around the world who lift
the NEW BELIEVERS and the prayer requests form those who are hurting
to the Lord.
They are vital to the success of this ministry.
We are a nondenominational Christian ministry and have placed
ourselves under the authority of a local Christian church, "Grace
Emmanuel" and Pastor Sam Chess.
This ministry is completely nonprofit and is totally supported by
donations.
Somebodycares4u.com is a very cost effective way of reaching the
masses including those living in restricted and hostile areas such as
Indonesia, Iran, and Kuwait. We have sent the entire Bible with one
click on the computer to places where the Word is prohibited. Our
mission is to spread the good news of Christ across the Internet to
as MANY people as possible
There are so many people who need to be reached. "Dear God," I pray,
"this is your ministry; please help us do our best."
What is a soul worth? Can we put any price tag on it? Can we measure
sacrifice or finances against souls and revival? Internet Evangelism
has proven to be an effective means of bringing the "Good News of
Christ" to the world. We must leap through this awesome window of
harvest and sweep in this ocean of souls into His Kingdom. If you can

Vern and Miko answered God's call to start an evangelistic outreach
web site. Our passion,
goal and
primary purpose is to to share the good news of how to have a
personal relationship with Christ to as many people as possible, and
to do it in a clear and understandable way. We
also present a wide variety of resources, encouragement, and insight
that will help believers to take root spiritually and cultivate a
faith that adds depth and meaning to their lives.
The Scriptures, inspired Word of God, without error in original
writings, are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation
of men and women, and final authority for Christian faith and life.
In One God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally
existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true Man, was Holy Spirit- conceived,
was virgin-born, died on a cross as the sacrifice for sin, rose
bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the
right hand of God. He is now our High Priest who intercedes for us.
The Holy Spirit's ministry is to glorify Christ, convict people of
sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and
empower the believer for godly living.
Man, originally created in God's image, disobeyed and incurred
physical and spiritual death. All are born with a sinful nature,
separated from God and can be saved only through the substitutionary
death of Christ.
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and his resurrection are the only
grounds for justification and salvation to those who repent (turn
from their own way) and admit their sin, believe the record, accept
the Gift and invite Him into their lives.
Water baptism and communion are the observed ordinances of the local
body and are not means to salvation.
The True Church is composed of all who are regenerated by the Holy
Spirit and thereby placed by the Holy Spirit into the universal body
of Christ of which He is the Head.
Only those part of the true church are eligible for membership in the
local body.
