 WOW! What a testimony!  I read your  book, "HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS"  with great interest and finished it in one night. Just couldn't put it down.  WOW! What a testimony! It takes courage to tell people about the foolish things we do.

 

 

The Joy Of My Salvation During a church revival, I came under conviction and asked many questions, on the way home.  I remember the fear, not wanting to go to hell.
 

A BRIEF TESTIMONY OF PASTOR PAUL CINIRAJ  The pain was unbearable. The stench could not be described. I was being pulled into a bottomless pit. There was nobody to save me. Without realizing I cried out "God, save me!"
 

AT THE AGE OF NINE HE RAPED ME and this abuse went on until I was thirteen. I  told my mother, she didn't believe me, actually no one believed me.

 

B0BBY JINDAL'S TESTIMONY  I doubt that you know who Bobby Jindal is but this is his testimony and it is wonderful.  Jindal is a young man, very young man, who is running for Louisiana Governor.  What is remarkable about him is

2) his family is from India

ACROSS THE MILES OF MY LIFE, I’ve recently learned that I need to slow down and make a detour.  I’m sure I’ve turned people away from accepting Jesus

 

"IT HAPPENED" It had reached the point where I could not go to work another day. That was 4 years ago. I am still there.

SEVERAL WEEKS AGO, through the website of The Presidential Prayer Team, I "adopted" a member of the Armed Forces to pray for daily during this time of war.

 

I STARTED HAVING SOME HEALTH PROBLEMS. We went to see several DR's until we were referred to a neurologist. He ran some tests. I had Multiple Sclerosis.

 

MY NAME IS VICKI, born in Pennsylvania in September, 1968. In my short life I had endured quite a bit of abuse; I had been raped by a male acquaintance of my mother's at age 5

 

I WAS AT CHURCH LAST NIGHT telling everyone about my employment situation when something hit me.

 

I WOULD GIVE IT -TO YOU  Other routes would have been faster, even with a slightly longer ride on the subway, but since I had time to spare I decided to take the route I knew best, knowing it added a long walk between Metro stations.

 

My mother had a tumor growing on the inside of her womb; she also had a baby-ME

I was in a severe motorcycle accident that put me into a deep coma for over 3 months.

 

I had a gun and was ready to end my life, thinking this would be the best way to get rid of all my problems and pain.

 

In 1997 I asked God to guide me to do something which will be of great help to my people in Uganda.

TESTIMONY  and poem  by Joan Clifton Costner: About 1997, my Sunday School class decided our 132 day drought had lasted long enough and we put our chairs against the west wall of our Sunday School room and got on our knees.

 

Happiness: Not as Elusive as You Think. When my little grandson received third degree burns, I learned firsthand how helpless a loving adult feels when your little one is suffering and you can't  take the pain away.

 

 I PASSED THIS LITTLE CHAPEL called Living Word Chapel, I attended the service there the following Sunday and boy did the Spirit of the Lord hit me, right between the eyes!!!

MY LIFE WAS IN DANGER: According to the doctor, the baby wasn't going to make it.  The doctor wanted me to have what she called and "emergency abortion" because my life  was in danger.

 

THE YEARNING  The desperate longing for a mate flickered . . .like a slow burning candle, the fire died, the flame went out, the wick no longer even smoldered.

 

TODAY I LOOK BACK OVER MY LIFE: Then I got married and began a family. Oh how I realized I needed God in my life to help direct me in raising those children.

 

WHEN I WAS EIGHT YEARS OLD I GOT SAVED,  not knowing what getting "saved" really meant. I did it cuz everyone else was doing it and thought if I didn''t get saved I would go to hell.

 

SHE USED TO WHIP ME with a fly swatter.  She beat me so hard that she made blood come out of my back and  my legs.

 

MY NAME IS KARENA Edgecombe from New Zealand  and I am 21 years old. I was brought up in a christian family, who I though was more or less perfect until the age of 13 when it came crashing to the ground when my Mum and Dad split up.
